The trombone is a brass instrument that uses a slide to change notes. You push the slide out to play lower notes and pull the slide in to play higher notes. Famous trombone players include J.J. Johnson, Glenn Miller, and of course, Mr. Schraub. The 5th Grade Band needs 8-10 trombones. Watch these videos to get a better idea!
