Trumpet

The trumpet is the highest sounding brass instruments. The trumpets often play the main melody parts in band music and are prominent in both concert band and jazz band. Some great trumpet players include Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Alison Balsom, Tine Thing Helseth, and Wynton Marsalis. The 5th Grade Band needs plenty of trumpets! Check out some examples below!
