Tuba

The tuba is the basement of the band!  It is the largest of all the instruments and plays the lowest notes, and the rest of the band relies on the tubas as the foundation for the ensemble's sound.  The tuba requires a lot of air and a dedication to working hard.  If you choose tuba, you will not have to bring the instrument back and forth to school and can keep a school-owned instrument at home for practicing, but the band can only have a few tubas.  Check out the examples below!
